Bhubing Palace is the royal winter residence where the Royal will stay during visit people in the Northern region of Thailand. Moreover, it is also the royal guesthouse for important visitors from abroad. It is located on Doi Huak Ha, Muang District, Chiang Mai, in the area of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park.
Bhubing Palace was built in 1961, featured Thai architectural style. In the first time, there were only the royal resident building and the guesthouse. Later on, there were additional other building built.
Bhubing Palace has plentiful nature with many kinds of plants and flowers including variety species of insects and birds. The area has been apportioned with different garden such as rose garden, fern garden, flower garden.
Visitors can visit everyday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The palace will be temporary closed during the royal visit: January – March.
Tickets will be sold from 08.30 – 11.30 a.m. in the morning and 1.00 - 3.30 p.m. in the afternoon.
Admission fee: Foreigner 50 baht, Thai adult 20 baht, Student 10 baht.
Trolley car service is also available. The fee is 300 baht/car (maximum 3 people).
It is worthwhile walking around the area to admire beautiful greenery nature while listening to the sound of insect. Take a deep breath with pure air and relax.
Visitors can also enjoy eating here. Fresh coffee and waffle are highly recommended!
